Half life surface tension tank

As an alternative solution to this problem, it is proposed a method called Backsweep, which relies on the use of intermittent gas injection in the horizontal section of the well. Since conventional artificial lift methods fail to remove the stagnant liquid in an efficient and reliable manner, the accumulated liquid limits the well production down to unprofitable levels. This results in the accumulation of liquid in the bottom of the well. As the reservoir pressure drops in the vicinities of horizontal gas wells drilled in tight reservoirs, the produced gas loses its ability to drag liquids to surface.
